Key responsibilities & impact

Build intuitive, scalable, and efficient frontend experiences for systems supporting order management, customer operations, fulfillment, finance, and vehicle purchase workflows
Architect, design, and develop scalable and performant frontend web applications
Define and drive frontend best practices for accessibility, security, testing, performance, and maintainability
Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar for frontend engineering
Collaborate with Design and Product teams to deliver usable and scalable experiences
Make decisions on frameworks, tooling, and component architecture
Contribute to the technical roadmap and guide major initiatives from concept to launch
Collaborate with backend and platform engineers on digital-stack integration
Remain a hands-on contributor while influencing engineering culture and processes
Identify, scope, and lead large technical projects
Evolve early-stage products, reduce complexity, and improve system reliability
Assist in calibrating and developing the software engineering team
Champion pragmatic AI-assisted development and help engineers use AI tools effectively
Modernize internal platforms and improve business processes through technology

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
8+ years of frontend engineering experience, with staff-level or equivalent technical scope
Deep expertise with React, NodeJS, GSAP, and related ecosystems and best practices
Experience with a mobile app development framework such as React Native is a plus
Experience identifying, mitigating, and preventing common web application security vulnerabilities
Strong command of security best practices, secure coding principles, and integrating security into the development lifecycle
Expertise in micro-frontend architecture and practical application in large-scale systems
Proven ability to drive architectural direction for large-scale front-end systems
Extensive experience building complex applications consuming CRUD operations in GraphQL, RESTful, and/or RPC APIs
Deep knowledge of UI/UX design principles, responsive/mobile-first design, SEO, WCAG accessibility, and performance optimization
Exposure to analytics, experimentation platforms, and feature flagging tools
Experience interfacing with IAM/SSO systems such as Azure, Okta, or Auth0
Deep understanding of branching strategies, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks such as Playwright and Cypress, and cloud environments
Experience contributing to technical roadmaps and strategic planning
Experience operating in start-up settings and launching 0-to-1 products
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Experience building AI/ML platform foundations or developer AI tooling is nice to have
Experience in automotive, mobility, retail, ecommerce, or digital consumer products is nice to have
Experience building multi-tenant platforms and shared enterprise services is nice to have
Full-stack engineering, micro-frontend architecture, and mobile platform foundations experience is nice to have
