Key responsibilities & impact

Lead a high-performing Engineering organization across multiple product areas and platforms
Champion AI-powered engineering tools and workflows
Partner with Product leadership to define technical strategy, roadmap priorities, and execution plans
Establish scalable systems, development standards, and operational best practices
Oversee architecture, development, testing, deployment, and reliability of products and infrastructure
Shape and evolve AI-first product strategy through experimentation and scalable implementation
Guide technical decisions across frontend, backend, infrastructure, data, and platform initiatives
Remove blockers, clarify priorities, and align engineering efforts with business outcomes
Foster an engineering culture based on ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement
Partner with Product and GTM teams to define and execute technical vision

Requirements

What you’ll need

12+ years of software engineering experience leading teams in high-growth SaaS or product-led technology companies
Experience in early-stage or growth-stage startups with fewer than 50 people
Hands-on technical leadership and ability to engage in architecture and code-level discussions
Personal use of AI coding tools and experience driving AI-assisted workflows across a team
Foundation in modern web technologies, cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and scalable architectures
End-to-end systems experience across frontend, backend, platform, infrastructure, and DevOps
Experience with TypeScript, React, Node.js, and GCP
Track record of building and scaling products used by millions of users
Deep expertise in system design, reliability, scalability, and security
Ability to translate company strategy into technical direction and drive execution
Ability to communicate effectively from engineers to executives
Ability to work effectively in ambiguity while maintaining engineering quality
