About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the entire project lifecycle from initial design and development through deployment, monitoring, and production maintenance
- Contribute to technological and architectural decisions
- Conduct design and code reviews
- Analyze and improve the efficiency, scalability, and stability of backend system components
- Interface with Frontend, DevOps, Research, and Product teams to deliver features
- Provide hands-on technical leadership and people management
- Design, build, and continuously improve scalable backend systems in a cloud-native environment
- Lead development using AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, Kafka, ElasticSearch, Redis, Azure ADX, RabbitMQ, and related technologies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience with backend engineering in a high-level programming language such as Java, C#, Python, or Go
- 3+ years of experience as a Team Lead
- Experience with cloud platforms and products such as AWS, GCP, and Azure
- Experience implementing data-intensive systems and message queue technologies
- Experience with microservices-based architecture
- Experience in the cybersecurity industry is an advantage
