About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Implement DSP algorithms in hardware
Prototype algorithms in MATLAB or similar language
Determine precision and dynamic range
Validate algorithms using hardware co-simulation or C/C++ bit true modeling
Implement FPGA or ASIC designs in Verilog or VHDL
Support projects through system architecture, algorithm exploration and trade studies, design reviews, implementation, lab verification, and delivery
Mentor and provide oversight of DSP Engineers and/or implementation teams
Support design team and customer meetings

Requirements

What you’ll need

BSEE with at least 10 years of experience is required
MSEE preferred
Thorough knowledge of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) concepts, including RF Comms, Synchronization, and high speed ADC and DAC systems
Experience implementing DSP algorithms in hardware
Experience with algorithm prototyping in MATLAB or similar language
Experience determining precision and dynamic range
Experience with hardware co-simulation or C/C++ bit true modeling for algorithm validation
Experience with FPGA or ASIC implementation in Verilog or VHDL
Demonstrated ability to support projects through system architecture, algorithm exploration and trade studies, design reviews, implementation, lab verification, and delivery
Experience mentoring and providing oversight of DSP Engineers and/or implementation teams
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Active TS security clearance is a plus
