About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Coordinate, plan, and manage installation and commissioning of rectifier substations at customer sites throughout Germany
Support projects from implementation through final acceptance
Organize and manage assembly teams on site
Monitor professional, timely, and high-quality execution according to planning documents, standards, and regulations
Perform electrical protection and functional tests on medium-voltage switchgear up to 30kV, DC switchgear up to 3kV, transformers, and low-voltage systems
Diagnose faults and develop effective solutions
Prepare construction plans and bill construction services
Implement acceptances
Coordinate and monitor suppliers on construction sites
Regularly coordinate with customers, service providers, and authorities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Successfully completed training or studies in electrical engineering, energy technology, or a comparable technical field
Professional experience in electrical engineering, electrical installation, power distribution, renewable energy, industrial plants, mechanical engineering, rail vehicles, or comparable technical environments
Proven experience coordinating construction sites professionally and on time with various suppliers
Basic knowledge of relevant standards and regulations, such as VOB, HOAI, and VDE, or willingness to learn them
Switching authorization for systems up to 30kV
Self-confident appearance, strong communication skills, commitment, and flexibility
High willingness to travel throughout Germany
Experience handling customer projects advantageous
In-depth knowledge of CAE/CAD systems, technical documentation, and MS Project advantageous
Basic knowledge of automation technology; IEC 61850 is a plus
Advanced understanding of quality assurance processes advantageous
Independent, flexible, reliable working style, resilience, and decisiveness advantageous
Good knowledge of German and English for working in an international environment advantageous
