About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance activities for Sécheron Singapore after-sales service
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance, upgrading, and renovation of equipment at the Singapore technical center or customer sites
Troubleshoot and perform condition analysis on ESS devices to determine appropriate repair or maintenance
Perform maintenance and repair according to technical documentation and procedures
Test repaired devices to ensure operational performance
Prepare comprehensive intervention reports covering purpose, work performed, analysis, spare parts, test results, and outstanding points
Maintain workshop tools, measuring instruments, and equipment
Collaborate with sales and customer support to promote service activities
Prepare interventions and gather necessary project information
Organize customer trips in Singapore or overseas with project and engineering teams
Supervise and verify on-site installations
Test and commission on-site installations
Train customer operators and maintenance employees
Report site modifications and errors to the project team and participate in solution proposals
Create and update installation, operation, maintenance, and commissioning documentation
Create, update, and validate internal and external training materials
Deliver theoretical or practical training according to customer requirements
Participate in business development and local office improvement
Prepare detailed customer presentations
Ensure compliance with safety procedures, company quality procedures, quality standards, and railway standards
Report potential technical risks and contribute to continuous improvement
Maintain accurate documentation and traceability of interventions and corrective actions

Requirements

What you’ll need

3 years of relevant experience in the railway industry
Proven experience with electrical equipment, preferably DC traction power equipment
A Degree in Electrical Engineering
Fluent, both verbal and written, in English
Strong attention to detail, ensuring the accuracy and quality of service reports
Ability to work within the given timeframe
Flexibility of planning
Ability to travel in South East Asia up to 1 week per month, depending on projects
Flexibility to work during engineering hours and attend remote meetings with Europe when needed
Valid full work permit in Singapore; sponsorship is not offered
