About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, update, integrate, test, and provide operational support for ATMs and self-service terminal software
  • Act as a subject matter expert in the ATM application ecosystem
  • Build low-code/no-code solutions and support implementations
  • Manage users, licenses, roles/profiles, permissions, and public groups
  • Apply system updates and procedures to improve application processes
  • Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 production support and diagnose technical issues
  • Investigate software errors and bugs, review application logs, and resolve end-user or operational issues
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
  • Monitor application health, interfaces, and system integrations
  • Serve as an on-call responder as required
  • Analyze process and workflow gaps, collect request data, assess impact, and provide project estimates
  • Participate in backlog refinement and prioritization
  • Coordinate upgrades, releases, CRQ changes, testing, and deployment schedules
  • Test patches, version updates, and hotfixes in staging before production rollout
  • Liaise with business partners, software engineers, DBAs, vendors, and IT teams
  • Assist with user training and monitor post-implementation adoption
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, system specifications, SharePoint knowledge articles, and user manuals
  • Evaluate emerging tools, processes, and industry trends to improve application efficiency

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Business, Information Systems, Data Analysis, or Engineering, or four additional years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in IT Application Support or Administration
  • Proficiency with Windows operating systems
  • Proficiency writing testable scripts, documentation, and requirements
  • Exposure to scripting, reporting/analytics tools such as Power BI, SQL, and Splunk, PowerShell, and SOAP/REST APIs is a plus
  • Knowledge of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and ITIL Incident/Problem Management
  • Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to interact confidently with technical, non-technical, and management staff
  • Ability to assist with product backlog review and refinement and contribute to prioritization
  • Ability to adhere to the manager-established work schedule and attendance policy
  • Fluent English required
  • Ability to sit, stand, and work for prolonged periods at a computer or telephone
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
  • ITIL Foundation v3/v4 or vendor-specific certifications such as Diebold or Hyosung are desired
  • Experience with ATM software and hardware, Scrum/Agile, and Helix are desired
