About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define and manage project scope, goals, and deliverables in support of business objectives.
Coordinate with technical teams to define and document project scope, estimates, and required effort.
Communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders.
Manage project resource schedules and coordinate realistic delivery timelines.
Assess, document, and manage project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage project scope and communicate scope creep to SecureOps leadership.
Ensure project time tracking is kept accurately up to date.
Create weekly project status reports, including time spent and invoicing.
Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
Track project milestones and deliverables.
Coordinate with client-side project management resources to align goals and expectations.
Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within project teams.
Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and contractors, encouraging positive action and accountability.

Requirements

What you’ll need

1–3 years of experience managing IT projects
Experience using project management software and tools
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Fluency in written and spoken English, due to regular interactions with clients and partners outside Quebec and the nature of the company’s international responsibilities
PMP certification or equivalent is an asset
