About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, build, and optimize data pipelines and transformations for artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, and enterprise use cases
- Research, recommend, implement, and drive architectural and data-pattern changes
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, machine learning engineers, technology teams, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver data solutions
- Mentor and consult with team members and other areas on best practices and optimal data solutions
- Apply data governance and security tooling, processes, and principles
- Devise technical solutions based on customer, business-process, and technical requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4-year degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent industry experience
- 2+ years of hands-on, professional experience working in Data Engineering
- Experience with ETL, data storage options, data quality, and structured and unstructured data
- ANSI SQL skills/experience
- Cloud knowledge and experience; AWS and Snowflake preferred
- Programming experience in Python or Java preferred
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Solid communication skills
- Curiosity and willingness to learn
- Flexibility and adaptability
