Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and inspire engineering delivery teams in a dynamic, matrixed environment
Guide staffing, mentoring, and performance development for solutions professionals
Mentor and develop high-performing engineers
Serve as solution owner and drive technology health and innovation for the Affinity Solutions technology portfolio
Collaborate with Affinity Solutions partners to build market knowledge and identify industry trends and emerging technologies
Engage with Product Owners, architects, security, data, and external partners to align priorities and address staffing capacity challenges
Oversee business continuity, incident response, and secure platform delivery
Manage budgets, technology vendors, and strategic staffing partners
Ensure adherence to development standards and foster continuous improvement
Oversee high-priority technology initiatives and support enterprise portfolio management processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience mentoring, coaching, or guiding others, with a strong interest in growing into formal leadership
Ability to build credibility, foster collaboration, and drive alignment across teams
Ability to engage, inspire, and connect with teammates and stakeholders at all levels
Curiosity, resilience, and ability to resolve or clearly elevate issues
Willingness to continuously learn, grow, and apply emerging technologies and practices
Knowledge of portfolio planning, project management, or systems development methodologies
Ability to understand how technology solutions work and integrate with internal and external systems
Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement and, if within a 90-minute commute, work in the office 3 days each week
