Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
  • Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred
  • 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Home state license required
  • Knowledge of all states' jurisdictions
  • Ability to analyze General Liability and Bodily Injury claims
  • Ability to investigate claims and gather information to determine exposure
  • Ability to negotiate settlements within designated authority
  • Ability to communicate claim activity and processing with claimants and clients
  • Ability to report claims to excess carriers and respond to requests for directions
  • Clear and conceptual thinking ability
