About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage overall operations for all assigned locations/offices
  • Establish policies and procedures ensuring compliance with best practices, claims management service standards, state regulations, and client service requirements
  • Establish business plans with goals and objectives for assigned partnerships and locations/offices
  • Monitor management reports relating to partner/office performance
  • Assist with coordinating sales and client service efforts
  • Support the organization's quality programs
  • Travel as required
  • Provide support, guidance, leadership, and motivation to promote maximum performance
  • Interview, hire, and establish colleague performance development plans
  • Conduct colleague performance discussions
  • Administer company personnel policies and follow staffing standards and training recommendations
  • Manage staffing, training, budgets, and profit and loss for assigned offices
  • Maintain direct or indirect responsibility for 50–99 colleagues

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
  • CPCU, ARM, AIM, and/or AIC certifications preferred
  • Licenses as required
  • Ten (10) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Seven (7) years of claims management experience
  • Four (4) years of supervisory experience
  • LOA/FMLA experience preferred
  • Strong technical claims knowledge
  • Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills
  • PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
  • Leadership/management/motivational skills
  • Analytical and interpretive skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies
