About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage damage collections and damage-related customer queries
- Provide ongoing support to the damage collections team and FNOL Contacts team
- Manage receivables and ensure damage invoices are paid on time by leisure and corporate customers
- Send monthly reminders and statements to customers
- Track incoming payments and participate in calls with key stakeholders
- Handle customer contact cases, queries, and disputes related to damage charges
- Investigate and process damage invoices
- Prepare documentation to support recovery of damage costs
- Liaise with rental locations, insurance providers, maintenance teams, claim handlers, and customers
- Maintain accurate records within internal systems
- Ensure claims are opened within agreed timescales
- Obtain and correctly match accident reports, photographs, vehicle damage assessments, and other supporting evidence to claims
- Gather additional information and ensure corporate standards and procedures are followed
- Support efficient recovery and resolution of motor damage claims
Requirements
What you’ll need- Previous experience working in an office or administrative environment is advantageous
- Experience using claims or business management systems is desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain high levels of accuracy when processing claims, recording data, and handling documentation
- Highly organised and self-motivated
- Ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently using initiative and consistently meet deadlines
- Ability to analyse information, make informed decisions, and progress claims efficiently
- Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Ability to build positive working relationships across different departments
