About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide administrative support, including preparing correspondence and reports, filing, and general office support
  • Produce correspondence, reports, and other documentation in final form
  • File documents and maintain and track suspense files
  • Photocopy and send and receive facsimile transmissions
  • Provide back-up telephone support
  • Process invoices and billings; maintain records
  • Maintain unit attendance records, libraries, and/or manuals
  • Record meeting minutes
  • Make travel arrangements
  • Maintain adequate supply inventory and order supplies as needed
  • Research a variety of topics as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Support the organization's quality programs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Two (2) years of experience in general office administrative duties or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Experience with an insurance company, broker or consultant preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills
  • PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
  • Analytical and interpretive skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies
  • Ability to handle work-related stress and multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Computer keyboarding; travel as required
