About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Process payroll actions based on changes in leave status
  • Ensure accurate and timely entry of data
  • Support high-quality customer service for internal and external customers and clients
  • Accurately interpret leave and disability claims data coding hierarchy
  • Apply correct leave and disability codes into payroll and time and attendance systems
  • Review reports for claim accuracy
  • Process and balance colleague time card files based on client paid time off policies
  • Respond to Human Resources and internal business partner inquiries regarding plan provisions and administrative procedures
  • Assist the department in evaluating absence program results and best practices in absence administration
  • Assist management with special projects
  • Perform other assigned duties
  • Support the organization's quality programs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree with business or computer related courses from an accredited university or college preferred
  • Two (2) years of administrative support experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Human Resources/Payroll experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of leave of absence, workers' compensation, and disability leave regulations
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
  • Analytical and interpretive skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies
  • Ability to handle work-related stress and multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to meet deadlines
