About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for investment manager clients through new business implementation and ongoing service relationships
- Assist clients with Collective Investment Trust projects and initiatives, emphasizing alternative assets
- Establish project plans and lead conference calls to coordinate the legal establishment, operational setup, and launch of CITs
- Create processes and practices to drive the business forward accurately and efficiently
- Gather data and prepare and present new client product developments to the Trust New Business Committee for Trust Company approval
- Manage or assist management with other CIT-related projects
- Collaborate with team members to support client needs
- Engage in product development discussions with SEI, investment manager clients, and other stakeholders to develop and implement solutions for alternative asset classes in the 401(k) market
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS/BA degree in business, finance, or related field, or equivalent education and work experience
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Financial Services, Employee Benefits, Investments, or Trust Administration is preferred
- Understanding of Geneva, Investier, Investran, and/or InvestOne is preferred
- Proficient in MS Office
- Knowledge of alternative investment products is desired
- Project management experience is preferred
- Knowledge of collective investment trusts, fund of fund operations, or other pooled investment vehicles is preferred
- Self-starter with outstanding decision-making skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented and able to work independently or with team members to meet deadlines
- Regular and reliable attendance in accordance with position, business, and/or client needs
- Ability and initiative to learn new concepts and systems and apply them to daily work assignments
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work flexibly as client needs change
