About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead large-scale SAP projects, ensuring execution within scope, timeline, quality, and budget
- Serve as the primary point of contact for crises and escalations, driving action plans and strategic alignment with clients
- Direct SAP implementation, migration, and conversion initiatives, assessing risks in Brownfield and Shell Conversion scenarios
- Ensure alignment between industrial processes and the SAP solution in collaboration with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and IT teams
- Oversee industrial modules such as PP, QM, PM, and MM, as well as other SAP modules, ensuring functional fit and technological integration
- Lead teams and project managers, overseeing hiring, onboarding, professional development, and performance management
- Monitor KPIs, SLAs, and operational efficiency, ensuring the application of SAP Activate, PMI, and Agile methodologies
- Work in a hybrid model, with visits to client sites as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Solid, proven experience in the executive leadership of large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementation, rollout, and conversion projects
- Proven hands-on experience managing projects using Brownfield and Shell Conversion strategies
- Experience with data conversion, legacy system history, and process reengineering
- Strong functional knowledge of SAP modules
- Established track record in highly complex industrial environments, including automotive, consumer goods, chemical, and metalworking industries
- Resilient leadership profile
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating global partners and providers
- Advanced or fluent English — a plus
- PMP, SAP Activate, or Agile methodology certifications — a plus
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry — a plus
