About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Actively participate in the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation and development through solution deployment
  • Develop proof-of-concept implementations for new architectures and solution ideas
  • Architect, implement, maintain, and evolve the business’s software solutions, focusing on industry best practices
  • Contribute to software quality by writing unit tests, conducting code reviews, and automating process stages
  • Collaborate with the team and share knowledge
  • Develop, deploy, and provide support for cloud-based Node.js services
  • Resolve bugs and develop new features for existing Node.js services

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • More than 3 years of professional experience, primarily designing and implementing RESTful Node.js services
  • Proven track record in developing, deploying, and supporting cloud-based Node.js services and supporting software
  • Experience with Express and/or NestJS
  • Ability to efficiently and accurately develop software based on product team requirements
  • Ability to work with existing Node.js services to resolve bugs and develop new features
  • Professional-level debugging skills
  • Proficiency in using design patterns, programming paradigms, and Node.js best practices
  • Extensive experience with unit and integration testing
  • Experience with TypeScript
  • Familiarity with Amazon Web Services
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with OpenAPI/Swagger specifications
  • Familiarity with code version control tools such as Git
  • Experience in tax and accounting (a plus)
  • SAP experience (a plus)
