About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Diagnose and repair faults across a complete range of vending equipment
- Complete work on the first visit wherever possible to prevent further breakdowns
- Carry out necessary return visits at the earliest opportunity
- Review equipment with multiple faults and prioritise persistent breakdowns
- Keep access to relevant technical manuals and documentation
- Attend training courses to maintain high workmanship standards
- Maintain positive customer relations and follow customer entry/exit and health and safety procedures
- Identify potential customer dissatisfaction and take appropriate action, including repairs or escalating to Senior Engineers or Service Managers
- Maintain the company vehicle in roadworthy, clean, and tidy condition
- Service, maintain, and repair vending and coffee equipment within the assigned area
- Minimise equipment downtime and resolve faults efficiently, ideally on the first visit
Requirements
What you’ll need- Full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months, with a maximum of 6 points
- Strong electrical knowledge/experience demonstrated through practical work experience or an electrical qualification
- Technical background with strong fault-finding and diagnosis skills
- Ability to work independently and manage own workload
- Customer-focused with a smart and professional appearance
- Hands-on technical experience
- Knowledge of safe working practices with electrical equipment and plumbing
