About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide analytical, technical, and programmatic support for the NAVWAR Training System Program Office (TSPO)
- Support Information Warfare (IW) systems training readiness
- Conduct systems analysis and develop and review system training requirements and tasks
- Support Live, Virtual, and Constructive Training (LVC-T) and afloat training events
- Plan, schedule, coordinate, execute, and close out IW LVC-T training events
- Develop schedules, briefing materials, and supporting documentation
- Support afloat training exercise coordination and scheduling
- Research and analyze science, engineering, business, and data-processing problems
- Develop, recommend, and implement solutions to application, system administration, and network concerns
- Perform systems management and integration functions and improve existing systems
- Review system capabilities, workflows, and schedule limitations; analyze and recommend solutions
- Transform user requests and requirements into technical design specifications
- Serve as a liaison among stakeholders
- Provide systems analytical support to Navy acquisition programs or comparable DoD organizations
- Coordinate with NAVWAR, Fleet, program office, and training stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- Three (3) years of relevant work experience
- Experience supporting Navy or DoD programs
- Familiarity with Live, Virtual, and Constructive Training (LVC-T) and Navy training events is highly desirable
- Familiarity with the Optimized Fleet Response Plan (OFRP) is highly desirable
- Experience with training curriculum development or conducting training analyses is highly desirable
- Excellent analytical and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, and Teams
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Ability to learn and apply technical concepts to assigned duties
- Secret clearance
- Experience utilizing digital tracking systems and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Teams, and SharePoint
- Travel of 0–10%
