About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead analytical, technical, and programmatic support for the NAVWAR Training System Program Office
  • Serve as a primary technical advisor and cross-functional liaison on Information Warfare systems training readiness
  • Lead complex data and systems analysis
  • Author and validate Navy training documentation, including Front-End Analyses and Navy Training System Plans
  • Ensure alignment with OPNAV Manpower, Personnel, and Training acquisition mandates
  • Coordinate afloat exercise integrations
  • Plan, schedule, coordinate, execute, and close out IW Live, Virtual, Constructive training events
  • Generate schedules and briefing materials
  • Maintain familiarity with the Optimized Fleet Response Plan
  • Research and analyze science, engineering, business, and data-processing problems
  • Develop, recommend, and implement solutions to complex application, system administration, and network issues
  • Perform systems management and integration functions
  • Improve existing systems and review system capabilities, workflows, and schedule limitations
  • Analyze issues and recommend solutions
  • Transform user requests and requirements into technical design specifications
  • Serve as a liaison between various parties
  • Provide specialized systems analytical support to a Navy acquisition program or DoD agencies
  • Work independently on high-visibility or mission-critical program aspects
  • Oversee and mentor mid- and junior-level analysts
  • Brief senior military and civilian stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • Expert working knowledge of Microsoft Project
  • Ability to develop and maintain an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
  • Excellent analytical and critical-thinking skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Ability to learn and apply technical concepts to assigned duties
  • Senior-level experience supporting Navy acquisition programs, DoD agencies, or related/comparable work
  • Ability to perform functional duties independently
  • Ability to oversee less-senior staff and/or assume responsibility for assigned personnel
  • Travel: 0–10%
