About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards
Take responsibility for general ledger and fixed asset accounting
Support and provide technical guidance for accounts receivable and accounts payable accounting
Prepare the monthly reporting package
Prepare the monthly liquidity forecast
Analyze and reconcile balance sheet and income statement items
Contribute to the preparation of non-financial reporting
Work closely with Controlling, Treasury, Tax, and other business functions
Act as a point of contact for auditors, tax advisors, and banks
Contribute to process improvements and optimization projects within Finance

Requirements

What you’ll need

Successfully completed commercial vocational training, ideally supplemented by further training as a certified accountant
Several years of professional experience—at least 3 to 5 years—in accounting or financial statement preparation
Good knowledge of national accounting standards and tax law
IFRS knowledge is an advantage
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
SAP knowledge is an advantage
Very good German skills and good English skills
Structured, conscientious, and independent approach to work
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
