About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead Sensiba's Sales Engineering function across North America, EMEA, and APAC
- Manage, coach, develop, and hire Sales Engineers across regions
- Own performance management, goal-setting, 1:1s, and formal performance reviews
- Maintain a consistent global approach to pre-sales methodology, scoping, proposals, and tooling
- Define career pathways and build the team bench for future growth
- Track and report Sales Engineering coverage and team performance metrics
- Deliver the Sales Engineering strategy and roadmap with senior GTM leadership
- Partner with Revenue Operations and Finance on pipeline visibility and forecasting
- Report on team performance, pipeline contribution, and cross-sell progress
- Lead pre-sales support for cross-sell initiatives and identify expansion opportunities
- Partner with service-line leaders and Customer Success on co-selling, referrals, and shared pipeline
- Ensure pre-sales and cross-sell activity complies with independence and professional standards
- Provide direct pre-sales support, including discovery, scoping, solution design, and executive-level client conversations
- Own the global Sales Engineering content library and review cycle
- Direct regional content creation and build cross-sell playbooks, messaging, and enablement materials
- Partner with Marketing and platform partners such as Vanta and Drata
- Strengthen existing partner relationships and develop new ones
- Support joint client conversations, partner enablement, and partner-led opportunities
- Report on partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in a technical or business discipline
- 6+ years’ experience in Sales Engineering, solutions consulting, or technical pre-sales
- 2+ years managing people
- Experience in a professional services, technology, or technical advisory environment
- Experience leading pre-sales for multi-product or multi-service offerings, ideally including cross-sell or expansion motions
- Ability to track and own team performance metrics
- Ability to coach and develop Sales Engineers across distributed, multi-time-zone teams
- Strong executive presentation and client-facing skills
- Proficiency with CRM and sales tooling, such as HubSpot or Salesforce
- Proficiency with proposal tools such as Qwilr and Monday.com
- Experience in a professional services field outside GRC is desirable
- Familiarity with compliance and assurance frameworks, or willingness to learn them quickly, is desirable
- Awareness of independence and professional standards in a regulated services environment is desirable
- Prior experience building or scaling a Sales Engineering function is desirable
- Experience working with clients or teams across North America, EMEA, and APAC is desirable
