About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide data analysis support to customers
- Assist with developing reports and dashboards to monitor program and operational performance
- Promote self-service analytics and customer adoption, understanding, and use of data
- Support programmatic analyses and reporting capabilities
- Define business requirements for new analyses
- Perform ad-hoc analysis as directed
- Support data quality and data stewardship functions
- Maintain data accuracy and identify new metrics
- Provide data-driven conclusions and recommendations to business partners
- Work directly with internal customers and external provider partners
- Onboard new team members and mentor junior analysts
- Oversee project work from inception to delivery
- Support analytics across payer, ambulatory, acute and post-acute care, and support functions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree (Required)
- 5 years of experience in Data Analysis (Required)
- Experience in statistics, population management & financial analysis
- Knowledge of SQL and Tableau
- Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills
- Problem Solving
- Consultative Engagement Skills
- Ability to work in one of Sentara Health's eligible remote-work states
- No specific certification or licensure requirements
