About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide inpatient nursing support through video calls from the Virtual Care hub call center
- Perform admissions, discharges, patient teaching, and medication reconciliation
- Leverage technology to enhance patient care and support bedside nurses
- Handle administrative tasks that do not require hands-on care
- Help ensure patients are informed about their care
- Collaborate with bedside nurses as an additional member of the hospital care team
- Support patient safety, privacy, workflow, and overall patient experience
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate’s degree in nursing required
- Registered Nurse License required
- BLS required within 90 days of hire
- 5 years of recent acute care bedside nursing experience required
- BSN or MSN preferred
- NIHSS and ACLS preferred
- IMCU experience preferred
- Epic experience preferred
