About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform a competent level of nursing care using the nursing process
Conduct assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care, teaching, health promotion, and evaluation
Uphold professional nursing standards including ethics, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice, quality, resource utilization, and environmental health
Apply clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards required by specific clinical areas
Work in the hospital float pool across Medical Telemetry and/or IMCU Stepdown

Requirements

What you’ll need

RN Degree - ADN, BSN or MSN
Valid RN License to practice in Virginia
Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
At least 2 years of recent bedside RN experience in Medical Telemetry and/or IMCU Stepdown
EPIC documentation system experience required
Meet and maintain any requirements defined by a specific specialty
