About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform a competent level of nursing care using the nursing process
Conduct assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care, teaching and health promotion, and evaluation
Apply standards of professional nursing performance, including ethics, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice, quality, and resource utilization
Provide hospital float coverage across Medical Telemetry and IMCU Stepdown areas
Maintain clinical knowledge and skills required by specific clinical areas

Requirements

What you’ll need

RN Degree - ADN, BSN or MSN
Valid RN License to practice in Virginia
Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
Must have at least 2 years of recent bedside RN experience in Medical Telemetry and IMCU
EPIC documentation system experience required
Meet and maintain requirements defined by the specific specialty
