Key responsibilities & impact

Perform competent nursing care using the nursing process
Conduct assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care, teaching, health promotion, and evaluation
Uphold professional nursing standards involving ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice, quality, resource utilization, and environmental health
Apply clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards in specific clinical areas
Work as a hospital float registered nurse traveler across applicable clinical areas

What you’ll need

2 or more years of recent RN bedside experience in Medical Telemetry and/or IMCU Stepdown
Valid RN License to practice in Virginia
Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
EPI C documentation system experience required
RN degree: ADN, BSN, or MSN
Must meet and maintain requirements defined by the specific specialty
Ability to provide nursing care according to the nursing process and professional nursing standards
