About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform competent nursing care using the nursing process
- Assess, diagnose, identify outcomes, plan, implement, coordinate care, teach, promote health, and evaluate patient care
- Apply professional nursing standards including ethics, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice, quality, and resource utilization
- Assess and admit patients
- Perform rounding checks
- Administer medications

- Provide overall care for assigned patients
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care
Requirements
What you’ll need- RN Degree - ADN, BSN or MSN
- Valid RN License to practice in Virginia
- Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Must have at least 2 years of recent bedside RN experience in a hospital on IMCU
- IMCU/stepdown experience required
- Ability to meet and maintain requirements defined by the specific clinical area
