About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform competent nursing care using the nursing process
  • Assess, diagnose, identify outcomes, plan, implement, coordinate care, teach, promote health, and evaluate patient care
  • Apply professional nursing standards including ethics, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice, quality, resource utilization, and environmental health
  • Assess and admit patients
  • Conduct rounding checks

  • Provide overall care for assigned patients
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • RN Degree - ADN, BSN or MSN
  • Valid RN License to practice in Virginia
  • Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
  • At least 2 years of recent bedside RN experience in a hospital on med/surg/tele and IMCU
  • Med/surg and stepdown experience
  • Night-shift availability
  • 14-week traveler assignment
