About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Cultivate and manage relationships with assigned brokers and territories
- Achieve profitable net new business objectives
- Manage the entire sales process, including prospecting, qualifying leads, presenting solutions, negotiating terms, and closing deals
- Present to and communicate with decision makers and key influencers
- Conduct member education sessions as requested
- Collaborate with marketing, underwriting, and customer service teams
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics
- Identify new business opportunities
- Meet or exceed assigned sales goals and performance metrics
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate's degree and 2 years of relevant experience required, or HS degree and 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree
- Relevant experience includes Sales and Customer Relations experience
- Must obtain a Florida 2-40 Health Insurance License within 90 days of hire or the broader 2-15 Health & Life License
- Valid Florida Driver's License required
- 4 years of Sales Health Plan experience required
- Must work in the Tampa, Orlando, Central Florida, or North Florida area
