About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct inspections on auto damage to prepare and review repair estimates
  • Virtually inspect damaged vehicles for structural, body, mechanical, and interior damage
  • Prepare detailed, accurate, and comprehensive damage reports and repair estimates using specialized software
  • Maintain records of appraisals, photographs, and claim-related communications
  • Review and interpret insurance policies to determine coverage and liability
  • Negotiate fair settlements with repair facilities and clients in compliance with company policies
  • Communicate with clients, repair shops, and insurance adjusters throughout the claims process
  • Provide customer service and address client concerns and inquiries
  • Stay updated on industry trends, repair techniques, and new vehicle models
  • Track and apply the latest repair technology

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of vehicle repairs from repair facility experience, appraising responsibilities, or collision repair coursework preferred
  • I-CAR certification highly beneficial
  • Experience with CCC, Mitchell, or Audatex estimating platforms strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of insurance policies, coverages, and claim procedures beneficial
  • Excellent customer service skills and professional verbal and written communication highly beneficial
  • Superior time management and ability to perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently beneficial
  • Acceptable motor vehicle record if driving own or company vehicle
  • Obtain and maintain state adjuster/appraiser licenses as required
