About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Document and file products with state Departments of Insurance
  • Help build systematic underwriting rules
  • Develop working knowledge or expertise in company products, processes, and state filing rules
  • Complete projects such as rule filings and rate changes
  • Develop alternative approaches for process improvements
  • Prepare and communicate product performance reports
  • Conduct product, system, and competitor research
  • Support introduction of new products and enhancements to existing products
  • Support entry into new markets
  • Collaborate on rate and rule revisions, underwriting changes, and system changes
  • Coordinate product revisions and project elevations with other business units
  • Implement underwriting rules within the system as directed by Product Management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Math, Data Science, Actuarial, or related field or equivalent work experience
  • 0-1+ year of related work experience
  • Prior insurance background preferred but not required
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and develop business relationships
  • Must not hold an F-1, J-1, or H-1 visa
