About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Partner with subject matter experts and business stakeholders to conduct needs assessments
Define performance-based learning objectives and align solutions with business priorities
Create learner-centric experiences across e-learning, live facilitated learning, immersive simulations, blended programs, and performance support systems
Apply User Experience design principles, learning technology, and authoring tools
Design multimedia-rich learning materials including storyboards, scripts, visual designs, e-learning, videos, and assessments
Incorporate graphic design principles and brand standards
Apply project management principles and Agile methodologies to deliver projects on time and within budget
Develop and implement evaluation strategies using data analytics to measure business impact
Provide data-driven recommendations
Stay current with performance-based learning, UX, and emerging technology trends
Research new approaches and participate in peer reviews
Seek and provide constructive feedback

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 3 years related work experience
Experience designing, developing, and implementing learning solutions using rapid prototyping, storyboards, and instructional script writing techniques
Experience with e-learning authoring tools and integrating with LMS platforms
Proficient in writing, editing, and proofreading learning content
Knowledge of contemporary adult learning theories and instructional design models
Ability to develop innovative learning solutions with minimal supervision
Experience applying adult learning theories and instructional design frameworks to professional learning engagements
Ability to write effective instructional text and media scripts
Visual and graphic design skills, including storyboarding and producing finished graphics
Proficient in current instructional design tools and video and audio creation/editing tools
Knowledge of applicable programming languages
Ability to research and remain current with emerging technologies
Experience with virtual delivery, podcasts, microlearning, learner-centric design, eLearning, social media, and video solutions
