About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support state insurance products for Sentry’s business product niches
- Communicate implementation and availability of new or enhanced products
- Participate in projects focused on key improvement initiatives
- Implement and communicate strategic market plans through internal partnerships
- Conduct market and competitive analyses to identify market opportunities
- Create, maintain, and file exhibits and requests with the State for product changes
- Analyze markets, data, and trends
- Communicate results to the team and management
- Announce product rate, rule, and form updates to impacted business areas
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of related work experience preferred
- Prior insurance background preferred
- Understanding of Microsoft Excel to create and manage spreadsheets
- Ability to collect and analyze data and trends and clearly communicate results
- Insurance coursework such as CPCU, AINS or ARM is beneficial but not required
- Strong interpersonal communication and analytical skills
- Must work in the office Tuesday through Thursday
- Must be eligible to work without F-1, J-1, or H-1 Visa employment
