About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Merchandise and maintain all company-distributed products in supermarkets and retail stores
Maintain attractive product presentation in compliance with planograms
Ensure adequate product availability and shelf-facing
Identify suitable positions for floor and shelf displays, obtaining retailer permission
Build displays and maintain display materials
Install point-of-sale materials in key areas
Remove damaged and expired goods from shelves
Report out-of-stock situations and significant competitor activities, promotions, and pricing
Ensure products are correctly priced for regular and promotional purposes
Maintain good relationships with retailers and high standards
Display assigned products in prominent positions
Monitor competitive product lines and relay information to the supervisor
Work independently to increase sales in outlets
Meet report deadlines and specified sales targets
Execute special project initiatives as communicated
Report to the Merchandising Supervisor, Regional Sales Manager, and Sales Representative

Requirements

What you’ll need

3 CSEC subjects
Minimum 1 year working experience in sales or marketing
Excellent Customer Service Skills
Experience in the Merchandising field/Retail would be an asset
Excellent Time Management, Customer Service Skills and analytical skills
Excellent written and oral communication
Must be computer literate
Excellent interpersonal skills
Self-motivated
Must be able to function independently and handle a variety of responsibilities under pressure
Must be able to stand, lift, push, twist and climb frequently
Occasional sitting, walking, reaching, kneeling and bending
