About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable full-stack applications using Java technologies
Implement backend logic and integrate with Oracle and DB2 relational databases
Develop and manage API integrations for seamless data flow between systems
Design and maintain message brokering systems using tools such as MQ for reliable asynchronous communication
Use Maven and Eclipse IDE to streamline development workflows
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and contribute to iterative development and continuous improvement
Collaborate within an international network of expertise on complex engineering challenges

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of proven experience in Full Stack Java development
Solid hands-on experience with Oracle Database and/or IBM DB2
Demonstrated experience implementing message brokers such as IBM MQ, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ
Proficiency with the Spring framework or similar enterprise Java frameworks
Extensive experience with Eclipse IDE and Maven or other build automation tools
Strong understanding and practical experience designing, developing, and consuming APIs
Proven experience working within an Agile software development methodology
Advanced oral English
Advanced Spanish
Familiarity with cloud-native foundations or AI coding assistants is desired
High-performance mindset, including resilience, emotional intelligence, and focus on agile delivery
Deep understanding of the difference between coding and engineering
