About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop standards, solution architectures, and roadmaps for Private Cellular and Radio infrastructure
  • Design enterprise Private Cellular solutions for campus, manufacturing, data center, and remote-site environments
  • Design and deploy Private 4G/5G networks using licensed and/or CBRS spectrum
  • Collaborate with LAN, WAN, WLAN, Security, and architecture teams to integrate cellular solutions with the broader enterprise network
  • Support Private Cellular initiatives from Proof of Concept through production deployment
  • Serve as a point of escalation for project execution issues
  • Conduct and/or coordinate site surveys for Private Cellular and DAS deployments
  • Develop site plans to achieve appropriate facility coverage
  • Supervise and/or perform onsite installations, maintenance, upgrades, and software enhancements
  • Serve as an escalation point for operational Cellular and Radio infrastructure issues
  • Use tools such as Wireshark and iPerf for performance analysis
  • Develop and maintain Operational Support Guides, architecture documentation, deployment procedures, and technical standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
  • 8–10 years of professional experience in cellular, wireless, network engineering, telecommunications, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience with Cellular Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) and signal-boosting solutions
  • Demonstrated experience designing and deploying Private Cellular Networks, including Private 4G and/or 5G, using licensed and/or CBRS spectrum
  • Strong understanding of enterprise network technologies and TCP/IP protocols, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, and firewalls
  • Strong knowledge of RF technologies and LTE networks
  • Experience with network analysis and performance tools such as Wireshark, iPerf, or comparable technologies
  • Strong network and cellular troubleshooting capabilities
  • Experience supporting cellular infrastructure deployments, upgrades, and operational environments
  • CCNA or higher-level Cisco certification (desired)
  • Extensive experience supporting cellular connectivity within manufacturing, industrial, campus, or large enterprise environments (desired)
  • Experience working directly with cellular infrastructure vendors and manufacturers (desired)
  • Familiarity with cloud-native foundations or AI coding assistants (desired)
  • Advanced oral English
  • Advanced Spanish
  • Resilience, emotional intelligence, and a focus on agile delivery
  • Deep understanding of the difference between coding and engineering
