About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide weekly clinical supervision to clinical staff and assigned therapists
  • Document each supervision session
  • Manage crisis intervention and emergencies
  • Ensure adherence to professional standards, policies, licensure, and registration requirements
  • Review practitioners’ charts, work procedures, and clinical documentation for compliance, accuracy, quality, and medical necessity
  • Facilitate peer review and related quality-assurance activities
  • Counsel, motivate, discipline, and conduct performance reviews for practitioners
  • Refer advanced issues to upper management
  • Supervise complex cases
  • Enhance operations through sufficient staffing and adequate access to services
  • Ensure compliance with procedures and policies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Licensed and practicing clinical therapist for at least 3 years as an LCSW or LPC
  • Completed a supervision course and NJ Clinical Supervision Certificate
  • Must be available to work a full 40-hour week, 5 days a week, Monday through Friday
  • Open to either a hybrid position or full-time in-office work
  • Must be able to work two evenings per week
  • Familiarity and experience with individual, family, and group therapy modalities
  • Previous experience at a mental health outpatient facility as a Supervisor preferred
  • Bilingual ability is a plus
