Key responsibilities & impact

Supervise and manage the accounting team by delegating tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring deadlines and company goals are met
Oversee daily accounting activities, including general ledger, reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
Prepare and analyze income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
Develop and monitor budgets, forecast financial performance, and manage cash flow
Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, tax laws, and other regulations
Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures
Provide financial insights and strategic guidance to senior management
Manage internal and external audits, implement financial controls, and ensure proper documentation
Collaborate with other departments and senior management to support the company's financial goals

Requirements

What you’ll need

2 Year Degree
Strong leadership and management skills
In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP, IFRS, and relevant tax laws
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in accounting software and systems, including examples such as QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, and NetSuite
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is stated; master's degree and CPA certification are often preferred
