About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the Director of Marketing in establishing, implementing and evaluating localized marketing strategies and plans
  • Write, develop and design print materials, advertisements, promotional items and other hard collateral
  • Write, develop and design digital campaigns including emails, social media, website landing pages, blogs and graphics
  • Identify marketing improvements and monitor competitor strategies
  • Develop marketing strategies and determine effective channels for target audiences
  • Adhere to brand identity standards
  • Maintain an inventory and directory of accurate sales support materials
  • Set up tracking systems for marketing campaigns and online activities
  • Manage print contractors and promotional vendors
  • Analyze the competitive landscape
  • Communicate promotions and marketing materials to sales representatives
  • Travel occasionally to branch locations or events
  • Create branded advertising and coordinate content
  • Create, maintain and strengthen the organization’s overall brand across media avenues
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Collaborate with internal departments, local sales teams and promotional vendors
  • Track and evaluate promotion effectiveness
  • Meet marketing goals provided by the Director of Marketing
  • Complete other projects as needed
  • Adhere to DSI Policies and Procedures
  • Perform some work on the road

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field required
  • 4+ years' professional business experience in marketing, social media, communications, advertising and/or graphic design
  • Adept in Google Workspace, Adobe Creative Suite, Facebook, LinkedIn, Canva, email marketing tools and social media scheduling tools
  • Photography and video content creation experience is a plus
  • Proven track record of strong writing and editing skills
  • Proven track record of strong graphic design skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivation, as measured by consistency in meeting deadlines
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects for multiple branches across different markets in the U.S.
  • Must be within reasonable driving distance of a DSI branch location
  • Ability to bend and lift items up to 20 pounds as required
