About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Monitor and verify import process costs, including cash advances, customs clearance expenses, and overseas payments.
- Analyze and validate invoices from suppliers and service providers, ensuring accurate billing.
- Monitor foreign exchange settlements, additional costs (demurrage), and other financial obligations related to operations.
- Prepare final cost spreadsheets and financial simulations to support decision-making and assess import feasibility.
- Enter financial and operational data into the system, ensuring accurate calculation, control, and filing of process information.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum education: High school diploma.
- Preferred education: Currently pursuing a college degree.
- Experience in import operations.
- Familiarity with integrated systems.
- Intermediate Excel skills.
