About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the U.S. Air Force Cloud One Architecture and Common Shared Services contract
- Configure and integrate OCI services
- Develop and test automated deployment of OCI services using infrastructure as code
- Collaborate with Cloud One environment teams, development, operations, security, and product management
- Drive adoption of DevSecOps practices and automation
- Implement and integrate identity and access management solutions, security monitoring frameworks, and multi-cloud common services
- Support customer onboarding and implement a consistent pathway to cloud adoption
- Prepare detailed technical documentation for development and operational processes
- Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot automation solutions for OCI infrastructure provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and operational management
- Develop and integrate automation using OCI REST APIs, SDKs, and CLI tools
- Replace manual cloud administration processes with scalable, reusable automation
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Present architectural designs and recommendations to executive leadership
- Mentor, guide, and supervise development teams of up to 10 engineers and technical specialists
- Lead architectural reviews and provide guidance on complex technical decisions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience; additional experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
- Active Secret clearance required to start; ability to maintain Secret clearance is required
- US citizenship required
- IAT-2 certification and one or more cloud certifications within 6 months of hire
- Excellent customer service skills, with experience working in a customer-facing position
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with OCI console, services, and infrastructure as code
- Experience designing scalable cloud-native solutions
- Experience leading development efforts of multiple agile feature teams
- Experience across architecture, development, deployment, and security
- Experience with GitLab pipelines, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Jira, Confluence, Artifactory, and automated testing
- Experience implementing or integrating identity and access management solutions and security monitoring frameworks
- Experience with Python and Bash shell scripting
- Experience with OCI REST APIs, SDKs, and CLI tools
- Preferred: Experience with USAF Cloud One, Platform 1, or DoD network architecture
- Preferred: Experience with Zero Trust Architecture
