About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct the Decennial Engineering Working Group (EWG)
Manage and coordinate activities among multiple teams
Ensure team solutions conform to quality standards and relevant application architecture, including tools, platforms, techniques, and design patterns
Partner with Business Analysts, Enterprise Architecture, Security, Quality Assurance, and Infrastructure teams
Manage the EWG schedule and resources
Manage project team member resources
Ensure project team personnel maintain current and comprehensive certification and knowledge levels
Plan delivery of services listed in the EWG Roadmap
Develop project delivery plans and schedules with the customer and EWG Board
Ensure software integrates with existing infrastructure, systems, and applications
Maintain progress reviews of project tasks and team member assignments
Consult with end users to translate business requirements into design specifications
Ensure IT deliverables align with business requirements and measurable results
Work on-site based on customer needs in a hybrid arrangement

Requirements

What you’ll need

Project Management and coordination experience
Bachelors Degree and 12 years of related experience
Strong Technical background in architecture or development area
SDLC experience
Software development, Infrastructure background preferred
Experience with MS Office, including MS Project and SharePoint
Experience with Jira
Experience working with customers and stakeholders
Experience maintaining schedules, risks, and issues
Experience developing and updating PowerPoint briefings for customer meetings
Experience developing and updating project metrics
Experience capturing meeting notes and actions items to resolution
Experience working in a fluid/changing/fast paced environment; requires minimal guidance
Hands on experience with AWS GovCloud preferred
Proposal writing and coordination experience, demonstrated understanding of cost estimation and basis of estimate definition preferred
US Census Bureau Experience preferred
