About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support enterprise architecture, technology modernization, project management, and systems integration for a complex enterprise IT environment
- Assess, design, implement, govern, and continuously improve enterprise technology capabilities
- Develop current-state and future-state architectures and technology roadmaps
- Support architecture governance processes and system lifecycle management
- Manage requirements traceability, risk management, performance monitoring, and solution delivery oversight
- Play a pivotal role in the system development cycle
- Consult with end users to evaluate business requirements and translate them into design specifications
- Work with all levels of the business to align IT deliverables with business requirements and measurable results
- Monitor cloud infrastructure costs using Apptio and AWS Cost Explorer
- Develop, review, and implement infrastructure as code using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Manage and coordinate activities among multiple teams
- Ensure team solutions conform to quality standards and applicable application architecture
- Lead projects for special initiatives
- Manage project team member resources
- Maintain project task progress reviews and team member assignments
- Ensure project team certifications and knowledge remain current
- Provide professional assistance to customers and stakeholders
- This hybrid role requires on-site work based on customer needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Hands-on experience with AWS GovCloud
- Project Management and coordination experience
- Strong technical background in architecture or development
- Experience working with Terraform and CloudFormation
- SDLC experience
- Software development or infrastructure background preferred
- Experience with MS Office, including MS Project and SharePoint
- Experience with GitHub
- Experience working with customers and stakeholders
- Experience maintaining schedules, risks, and issues
- Experience developing and updating PowerPoint briefings for customer meetings
- Experience developing and updating project metrics
- Experience capturing meeting notes and action items to resolution
- Experience working in a fluid/changing/fast-paced environment with minimal guidance
- Experience working with AWS Bedrock and AI models preferred
- Proposal writing and coordination experience, with understanding of cost estimation and basis of estimate definition preferred
- US Census Bureau experience preferred
- Ability to plan and prioritize work, including project team tasks
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team
- Ability to influence others and move a team toward a common vision or goal
- Strong business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
- Ability to work effectively at all organizational levels
- Clear and efficient verbal and written communication skills
