About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work closely with the VP, Legal and Sales Team to oversee all legal aspects of customer documentation and capital markets technology products
  • Draft and negotiate SaaS and other customer agreements
  • Review and negotiate documentation related to technology platform services and the Capital Solutions team
  • Keep up to speed with industry trends and legal and regulatory market changes
  • Build scalable legal processes
  • Provide trusted legal advice and practical commercial guidance
  • Support customers and partners navigating the evolving credit ecosystem

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience drafting and negotiating capital markets and finance agreements and related documentation, including asset-backed facilities
  • Fintech experience and/or in-house experience at a bank or financial institution is a plus
  • Proficiency with AI tools is a plus
  • Ability to prioritize appropriately and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment
  • JD degree from a top-tier law school
  • Admission to the New York bar in good standing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Flexible, positive, and team-oriented approach to work
