About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and develop scalable Shopify websites and high-performing digital commerce architecture
Build and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to create responsive, dynamic storefronts
Develop and maintain complex third-party integrations and robust API connections to extend Shopify’s core capabilities
Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code aligned with modern development best practices
Partner with designers, project managers, customer success teams, webmasters, and leadership throughout the full project lifecycle
Test, optimize, and iterate on client solutions while exploring new technologies to enhance internal development workflows
Build digital commerce experiences for global brands through custom Shopify development, bespoke applications, and complex integrations

Requirements

What you’ll need

4+ years of hands-on experience as a Full-Stack Developer with deep proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Hands-on proficiency with React, Node.js, and Express.js
Proven experience building and customizing Shopify and Shopify Plus stores, with strong hands-on knowledge of Shopify Liquid, Shopify APIs, and third-party integrations
Working knowledge of PHP, Laravel, and MySQL for robust backend data management and integrations
Proficiency with GitHub, version control, and modern development pipelines
Proven ability to build responsive, high-performing e-commerce websites
Strong ability to translate business constraints into engineering tradeoffs and collaborate effectively in a team environment
