Product Manager – Hardware and Software Solutions

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- End-to-end responsibility for product management of hardware and software products used to deliver, optimize, digitalize, and scale services
- Contribute to the further development of services by strategically integrating the hardware and software products under your responsibility
- Manage the assigned products throughout their entire lifecycle—from definition and development through global market launch, continuous product maintenance, and phase-out
- Contribute to market positioning, pricing, and the commercial evaluation of the assigned products within the broader product and service portfolio
- Plan and manage projects as part of product development processes for defining, developing, and maintaining existing and new products
- Coordinate and collaborate with internal departments as well as external development and technology partners
- Work internationally with service and market organizations to identify and assess customer and market requirements, support global market launches, and feed market feedback back into product development
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed degree in computer science, business informatics, electrical engineering, mechatronics, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Extensive experience in project and product management, ideally in the hardware and software product environment
- Ideally, experience with industrial drive and automation systems
- Strong technical understanding of systems and architectures for hardware and software solutions, including their interaction across system boundaries, interfaces, and different technical layers
- Good written and spoken German and English skills, at least B2 level
