About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate activity across Product and Platform Engineering from initial intake through development and release
- Track work through the engineering process and identify stalled activity or outstanding steps
- Maintain delivery plans, milestones, actions and target dates
- Coordinate activities and hand-offs between teams
- Track cross-team dependencies, blockers, risks and delays
- Facilitate planning and delivery meetings and follow up actions and decisions
- Communicate development progress and upcoming activity
- Maintain consolidated views of development demand, capacity and resource allocation
- Highlight capacity constraints, resource conflicts and competing demands
- Provide capacity information for prioritisation and resource decisions
- Coordinate support-escalated defects and bugs through the development workflow
- Track defects, ownership, progress and expected resolution
- Ensure Support receives timely updates
- Coordinate with the Product Business Analyst, Product Project Manager, QA, UI, Accessibility and specialist resources
- Maintain accurate delivery status, dependencies, risks, issues, actions and decisions
- Keep Jira and other delivery tools accurate and up to date
- Produce development updates and escalate matters requiring management decisions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Demonstrable experience in project coordination, project management, or similar roles, with a proven track record of taking ownership of coordination activity
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and proactively drive actions forward with limited supervision
- Experience working within a SaaS/software development environment
- Good understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile ways of working
- Experience within an agency, systems integrator, consultancy or similarly delivery-focused environment
- Experience coordinating multiple concurrent workstreams and cross-team dependencies
- Experience supporting resource and capacity planning
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience using Jira or similar development/delivery management tools
- Desirable: experience within a software Development or Engineering team
- Desirable: previous Business Analysis experience or experience working closely with Business Analysts
- Desirable: experience coordinating software defects and support escalations
- Desirable: experience working across Product and Platform Engineering teams
- Desirable: experience supporting development process improvements
- Pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK
