About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform control and reconciliation of accounts related to financial market activities and/or lending activities for the local public sector and export business
  • Ensure the consistency and reliability of accounting data in compliance with IFRS and French accounting standards
  • Identify and analyze variances, propose adjustments, and provide recommendations
  • Contribute to the timely preparation of monthly and annual financial close activities
  • Prepare financial statements, dashboards, and reporting materials for management, auditors, and regulators
  • Participate in strategic projects led by the Accounting Department, particularly those aimed at improving IT tools and processes
  • Work with IT teams and other departments to implement regulatory and organizational changes
  • Recommend improvements to the automation and digitalization of accounting controls

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master’s degree (Bac+5) in accounting; preferably a DSCG, Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance, or equivalent
  • Additional certification in financial management or in-depth knowledge of financial markets is a plus
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in an accounting department, ideally within the banking or financial sector
  • Experience managing accounts related to financial products or customer lending is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, including IFRS and French accounting standards
  • Proficiency in reporting and analysis tools, including advanced Excel and BI tools
  • Interest in information systems and automation
  • Rigorous and well organized, with strong analytical and synthesis skills
  • Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Motivated and curious about accounting and financial matters
  • Ability to work effectively in a changing environment
